Alexa rank Vs Page rank.

It is very important comparison both are contributing in deciding the value of particular domain name. I am writing this article based on my knowledge and my experience so far in domain business. Alexa rank depend on the criteria how many hits your website is getting in a 3months of time. it is calculated on the basis of average no of hits in three months of time. While page rank is calculated on the basis of no fo back links your website having But this is not only the criteria. If you want to buy domain name and if you have two choices one having good Google page rank but not good alexa rank. second one having good alexa rank but not good page rank. than which one you prefer first. I came across this situation many times. Than i go for the site having good alexa rank.Becuase if your site attract more no of users than your site will defiantly get good page rank to but i think it is not a case of visa versa. yes but if you want to make money fast by selling links on your website page than it is always recommended to go for the site having good page rank.

It is general conception that page rank is calculated on the basis of how many number of back links are there linking to your website. I think it is realistic but while working on this topic i found many domains name having good Google page rank but they does not have good number of backlinks.Which confuses me a lot. how this type of domain gets good page rank. So i think while calculating page rang Google consider lots of other dimension which may be more important than having back links while deciding page rank. One of the important factor is Time. It is always recommended to wait for at least six months getting good page rank.
